Hanna aka ‘The Negative Painter’



Hanna jokes that she should be known as ‘The Negative Painter’ for her spicy rants (and also for painting around things a lot). A world traveler who documents her travels in urban sketches and landscapes, Hanna began contributing to this blog in spring 2025.

Lynne aka ‘The Paint Whisperer’



Various friends and family members know Lynne as The Paint Whisperer, having benefited from her passion for color and advice to help them select coordinating paint colors in their homes. A retired middle school principal from Massachusetts USA, Lynne feels like her true avocation as a sketch artist has just begun and is having a great time in this leg of her journey.

Sandra
Fascinated by color, Sandra loves to paint the world around her. She paints at home in Germany as well as (en plein air) on her travels, painting mundane subjects, landscapes and urban scenes alike. Swatching and mixing colors are a well loved painting practice.
