I got so excited with Triadvent I almost didn’t post a November restrospective! I actually have a lot to post because November was a big month.
After starting out with some bigger than usual tutorials from Maria Smirnova’s book Sublimez vos paysages à l’aquarelle, I took some live classes: Neon with Katie Woodward and Windowscapes with Brooke Morales, for which I painted daily tiny windowscapes. I also participated in Kolbie Blume’s Tiny National Parks 5-day challenge. I rounded out the month with a personal project where I did several paintings of the same landscape.
The Paintings
Tutorials
I worked bigger for these first two.

Birds
A couple of entries for my birding life list.

Outdoor Sketching

Skies: Photo to Painting

I almost trashed this because the power lines are so clumsy but I like everything else.
Distant Hillside
The idea here was multiple paintings of the same location, under different weather/time of day/lighting conditions. I did more of these than I expected to! They are all about 5 by 7 inches in size.

I’ve also created a page for these to live, along with future ones: Distant Hillside.
Daily Mini Windowscape Practice
Daily sky practice from Brooke Morales’ class.
