My second day out and I draw a perfect CMY triad! You will just have to believe me that it is really random, or I would have chosen something more “random-seeming.”

Obviously a CMY triad offers a ton of color-mixing possibilities, so it was hard even narrowing the field. I decided to go with an aurora photo in honor of the recent aurora that was visible in much of North America, which I was lucky enough to see last month. Auroras require bright greens and pinks. I even mixed the black for the silhouettes – I found it easiest to do this by first mixing a green and then mixing it with the complementary rose.
